Tyneke Johnson

Hi, I’m Tyneke!

Tyneke Johnson, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a strong background in behavioral health and psychiatric nursing. Her experience spans crisis stabilization, psychiatric emergency care, inpatient psychiatry, outpatient care, and community mental health, where she has worked with individuals experiencing a wide range of psychiatric concerns.

Tyneke has a particular interest in the assessment and treatment of ADHD, as well as anxiety, depression, and mood disorders. She takes an individualized, evidence-based approach to care, recognizing that ADHD and other mental health concerns can present differently from person to person and can affect many aspects of daily life. She values taking the time to understand each patient’s experiences, concerns, and goals when developing a treatment plan.

Her approach to care is collaborative and patient-centered, with an emphasis on education and shared decision-making. Tyneke strives to create a welcoming, nonjudgmental environment where patients feel heard, respected, and comfortable asking questions about their care.

Outside of work, Tyneke enjoys hiking, exploring the Pacific Northwest, spending time with family, and being with her dogs. As an avid dog lover, she especially enjoys opportunities to spend time outdoors with them.
